Clarinspect and Bluetooth for Efficiency

There are so many ways to do things better - and it is about finding the way that suits your business. Our clients had a need to generate labels in the field from newly entered data - so we added Bluetooth printing into our App.

This gave an easy win for Passive Fire installers as they could print off labels for Passive Fire penetrations and installations. Having the ability to quickly and easily label their work with build information, and include a QR code for rapid access to data about their work has allowed them to speed ahead.

You could also use this to print off Asbestos warnings, non-compliance notices, sample bag labels - all with a QR code so people can look up the issue, pickup IDs and avoid typoes...

We used the Zebra ZQ520 - a neat little unit with a long lasting battery, easy connection and straightforward to use. We'll do a proper review shortly!

Clarinspect also has a world-first for Bluetooth integration!

If you use coating thickness gauges from DeFelsko® or Elcometer, you can now directly stream, or load batches of data, directly into Clarinspect whilst in the field. This avoids data entry issues, and speeds up the coating QA/QC processes.

This is especially good for intumescent coatings applicators, who can print off a label with a QR code to get the end-to-end benefit of this joined up technology!
