All about the Apps, not about COVID-19

Floor Plan Creator
From Marcin Lewandowski
This tool allows for the quick creation of floor plans. With an easy to learn user interface, high quality of images, and fast and efficient integration into the Clarinspect software, this software is a fantastic tool for adding fidelity to your inspections.
Genius Scan

This enables you to provide professional looking images of paper reports whilst being away from technology that would normally enable document integration.
Open Camera
From Mark Harman
A picture is worth a thousand words and a good picture perhaps slightly more. With Open Camera, you can choose image quality, stabilise photos, remote controls, and geotagging. You also get the ability to stamp all photos with date, time and your company name.
GBoard (aka ‘The Google Keyboard’)
From Google
This allows much improved voice to text directly from the keyboard as well as swipe rather than type options. The Auto-correct can be personalised to include your own entries, and shorthand. We have reviewed this before and duly point you at this useful blog post…
SkyPro GPS Hardware
From Dual electronics Corporation
SkyPro GPS external GPS unit from Dual Electronics Corporation is a handy extension to your phone if you need to know the position of an item, or asset, to a higher accuracy than the phone can provide. In addition, as an external unit you get the GPS position of wherever you place it rather than the GPS position of the phone that is taking the reading...
